    We had a party of five. Sat us at a 4 top and added a chair at the end. Very crampt. Food was great and service was outstanding.

    The bourbon burger was excellent as usual. However, with regards to the squid starter, they appear to have added or substituted some anaemic and slightly soggy pieces of, what appeared to taste like, scampi. I didn't complain as I was dining with an old friend to whom I had recommended restaurant. That's why I only gave 3 * for the food. Perhaps the restaurant would like to comment.

    This is the second time I have booked a table at Bills Canterbury for our literary group for 13 and 11 people respectively . Last night, the staff were helpful and for most of the group the food was OK. My order of a classic burger and cheeses was over cooked (despite me asking for it to be medium), tiny and with the mearest suggestion of cheese. The dessert was good. The bill included an “optional” 12.5% tip. The customers decide if a tip is warranted, not the restaurant. At our previous visit to the restaurant, we were given individual bills; this time a combined bill. It was with reluctance that we were then given individual bills. Finally, when we last visited, I mentioned to the manager that the downstairs toilet was dirty, including a dirty and broken toilet seat. I was assured this problem would be be rectified. Last night, I used the toilet and it was still dirty with a dirty broken toilet seat. Our group will not be using Bills again, but will almost certainly use Cote which is only two minutes away.

    Bill's offers splendidly numerous, diverse, tasty dishes with generous serving sizes, making it a very favorable choice for dinner in a pleasant space with unique decor.

    Overall a very good experience although the lunchtime rush did slow service quite a lot. I didn't like that they automatically added a service charge which they did without asking. The staff were otherwise extremely helpful and friendly. I would liked a bit more variety on the menu. All in all it was a very good venue that I would definitely return to.The outside seating area is great on a fine day.

    A lovely meal enhanced by our amazing server, Asim, who couldn’t do enough to help. Lovely, reasonably priced food. Would definitely come again.
