Had booked a table for 4.30. Table ready at 4.40. Waiting 30 mins to be served. Not even a drink Food was cold. Had been reheated but was dry and cold. Not good..

Terrible service, waiting 20 mins to be seated even though we had a booking and then another 50 mins to get our afternoon tea! Then they put a sevice charge on our bill!!

I booked afternoon tea at Bewleys for Mother’s Day (based on internet reviews). Unfortunately while staff were friendly, the service was really poor (waiting 50mins to be served the food). The savoury offerings were also poor while the sweet offerings were marginally better. Given the cost, I have had much better afternoon tea elsewhere. A disappointing experience unfortunately.

The food and drinks were excellent and Pablo took wonderful care of us!!! He was so friendly and gave us wonderful advice for a day trip.

Brilliant! This place is very special and we visited regularly on our stay. FAB coffee, great atmosphere, super service, delicious delicatessen, and good value for money. Have breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea here - it’s all good! And DON’T miss the carrot cake!

I had booked a table for 4 and mentioned one was using a wheelchair. I was directed to a seat in the right side which was inaccessible for our wheelchair. I refused it. Then I was directed to one slightly better but not ideal. I took it because the staff had obviously no training in how to deal with wheelchair guests. I emailed bewleys but no reply. Poor response , we don't matter.

When we arrived we were given one of the worst tables in the section even though there was a free corner table. When we asked the corner table was cleaned and we moved there. Our main waiter was lovely but we went for long periods without anyone coming near us or to ask us if we wanted more tea/ coffee. We asked one waiter if they could heat our scones but he told us he didn’t understand us as he was French. I think a dedicated waiter in this section to refill drinks etc would be beneficial. I don’t think we will be going back again.
