Drinks were lovely and it’s a beautiful setting. I have no issue with ordering at the bar but as there was seven of us, I think really, particularly as it was almost empty, they should have brought our drinks over to us. But still, overall a lovely time.

We booked a table and waited 20 minutes for someone to appear at the bar. When we then did get a drink the serve wasn't great at all. Wouldn't come back

We didn’t dine, we had drinks in the rooftop bar. Quiet at 17.15 but we expected that. Lovely bar, staff friendly. On warmer evenings it would be glorious to sit outside. Suggestions for improvement? We had to go to bar to be served, drinks brought over - but as quiet it would have been nice to get table service ? Also, we were drinking Champagne, I think the heavy Utilitarian chunky catering flutes should be saved for ‘other’ sparkling wine and some nicer more classy ones used for champagne to make it special 😀 I think the type and quality of glasses for drinks says a lot about an establishment. Those are my thought though overall a lovely experience .

Beautiful decor, wonderful ambience, fabulous service and delicious cocktails overlooking the stunning cathedral! Perfect spot for a rooftop bar! Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be returning 🙂

Didn’t dine there stayed in hotel website says open till 12 went up11.30 to be greeted with we are closed you can take a bottle of beer to your room , till then it was good

We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on food but waited at the bar to let a member of staff know we were there as we’d booked a table. No one acknowledged me at all, not even to say they’d be with me in a minute. It wasnt even busy. I stood for a bit and waited and then we just left. The music was like walking into a kids disco. Not quite cocktail/early evening drink vibes. Wouldn’t have been able to hear each other talk. We are late 30s so not old either but the place just had no atmosphere. Shame!!

We visited Beckets roof top bar as a couple , it’s a cosy boutique vibe inside and a chilled vibe outside . Great views of the city below . Knowledgable staff and a good variety of drinks on offer. Only serve do bar snacks nuts crisps - I would avoid the restaurant downstairs . It was busy on a Saturday when we went as it’s used by hotel and no hotel guest . Luckily we reserved a table ! I’m adding Becketts to our girls nights out too !
