   We enjoyed celebrating two birthdays this evening and the service, food were fantastic. We had a reservation and we were seated right on time! I definitely would return to try more dishes. The ribeye was delicious along with steak tacos, and steak kabob. Drinks and beer were great too. Service was well-timed and very friendly.

   Another wonderful meal at my favorite C-U restaurant. We were seated at a booth near the bar so a bit noisier than usual. Excellent service, excellent food, great menu (including many GF options), & reasonable prices. Bravo!

   The best food, the best service, the best drinks, the best atmosphere, the best lighting nice and dim just the way i prefer. You can go in a jogger suit or a suit and tie and won’t feel out of place. Coming from Chicago with top quality restaurants, this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Thank you. Will be returning soon until I order everything on that menu!!

   It was great. Our server was very sweet, the food was amazing and the steak came out perfectly cooked. They even had a Mardi Gras menu with some additional options available.

   We didn't get served any bread at the table. Service was Ok. The food came out in a reasonably timely manner. The server didn't really check on us too much. They were pretty busy when we were there, but I still felt a sense of abandonment with regards to the service. They definitely did not go out of their way to provide us with excellent service. The food was OK. My partner could have used some more sauce on his sandwich and they never brought him the extra ketchup for his fries that he asked for. I had the pork chop...little tough but the sauce on it was good.

   As always, our visit was great overall. Baxters is our favorite place to eat for any special occasion. We got there about 45 minutes before our reservation so we sat at the bar while waiting. The bar staff was great. Then once we were seated, service was super quick. Michaela was amazing!

   Always a consistently excellent experience. The menu offers options to suit just about anyone’s taste—including a commendable variety of appetizers and desserts. I’m not much of a drinker, but they have an impressive cocktail, wine, and beer selection. The atmosphere is classy but not stuffy, and the servers are friendly, attentive, and accommodating. For the quality of food you get and the service you receive, the prices are very reasonable. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had there.

    The food and service was superior to any restaurant in Champaign. A perfect pick for our Valentine's Day dinner. From the decorations, fresh flowers on every table and the perfect selection of music, we were truly blown away by this memorable experience. We will be back!
