Ballistic Springfield Brewery, Bar & Kitchen features a 800 litre brewery set up, 20 taps serving a wide range of styles of craft beer and a full spirits/wine bar. The venue boasts both seating and long tables and can cater for large groups and the kitchen serves the best beer food available with a well crafted menu of recognisable favourites that pair perfectly with a cold one.

A focus on community and family, children are always welcome with a large green space to run around and a playground to tire them out. Don’t leave your four-legged best friends at home they are welcome (on leash) to come and enjoy the live music every weekend.

Great selection of beers but food was a little slow to come out and I was a bit underwhelmed by the value of the meal I chose.

Meals did not come out together . It was a long wait between meals, by the time one meals come out the other person had long finished. It took over 1hr to receive a pizza and after 1.5hrs we still hadn't received my 4 year old kids meal even after asking multiple times. One adult meal was given only a spoon!, as they had apparently ran out of forks but also didn't provide a knife. At the start I ask one of the workers to clean the table as it has rubbish and dirty from previous people, the lady never came back and I had to clean it myself. It's a great atmosphere outside for the kids but such poor service and completely disorganised. servers they were dismissive and rude.

Great food, staff were super friendly and live music was very enjoyable. The jumping castle was a huge bonus for the kids to enjoy. First time here and we’ll definitely be back!

We decided to book an appointment for 8pm on a Sunday and admittedly it was only an hour before at 7pm as we were swimming at the Orion lagoon. We arrived early at 7:55pm but were told the kitchen closes at 8pm and despite having a booking they could not service us. Normally it wouldn't bother me but we had kids with us and it was just a big waste of our time trying to find somewhere else that late at night especially with 2 young hungry boys. I would suggest you either remove the ability for people to book at 8pm on a Sunday or make an exception when people turn up 5 mins before the kitchen closes.

Long time between each person getting meals and one person had to go and ask where their salad was to be told it wasn't on the docket. They ended up getting the wrong salad but they were too hungry to send it back. This is the third or fourth time at Ballistic and this was the first time this has happened.

Craft beers were great, highly recommend. However the food was not good at all. They even served wilted brown side salads. We left feeling sick after our dinner. Definitely better food at the other pubs in Springfield.

Food was absolutely delicious, came out in a reasonable time and we had leftovers to take home. We had a lovely evening, and the kids had a great time on the bouncy castle they had set up there. The bar staff were friendly and accommodating, even having a laugh with us. We are a little disappointed at some of the wait service though. Initially when arriving the young lady was lovely and welcoming, and offered for us to decide if we would prefer to sit inside or outside. We were not, however, offered water or menus, nor were we told how to order. We went to our table and didn't hear or see waiters until one came out to collect empty glasses. I asked if it was table service and was asked in return "Sorry, what's that?", but were assured that they did bring the food to the table. When our food was brought out, I had to ask for the cutlery. When one of the waiters came out to collect more glasses, she bumped my husband when reaching over him to collect them. Overall, the experience was positive and we had a lovely night for my husbands birthday.
