   This is my second experience with Backwoods and it certainly did not disappoint. Very friendly staff, delicious beers and fantastic food. The bonus is lots of TVs mounted around the dining area and bar with lots of sporting event options. Will definitely be coming back.

   Great food. Great service. All around a great experience. Can’t wait to try the rooftop patio as soon as it warms up.

   I’m happy to have Backwoods Brewing revitalizing Hillsboro. They are a great upscale pub with an excellent variety of beers on tap and to go. The food is fresh, well presented and very tasty. If you are inclined to get the Brownie, beware it is huge and delicious. Make sure you have reservations in the prime dining hours. This speaks volumes to their popularity amongst the locals. I’m looking forward to summers on the rooftop.

   Made a reservation for upstairs, when we got there the hostess said it was closed due to weather and I stated “well it’s covered right?” Then he changed his story and said “well we don’t have servers up there” so that was a good start. We were seated fairly quickly and received service from a waitress that wasn’t very happy to be working as it seemed. We always remain super nice as I know how difficult these jobs are, but she had a hard time hearing and understanding us. The noise is next level with the open huge ceilings. The food was wonderful, had a mishap with a sandwich and they remade it for us, but it came out with the same wrong ingredients again, but it wasn’t horrible. Really enjoyed the fried pickles, and the bbq burger. Will go back for the food and when we can try the upstairs , but unfortunately not for the service or atmosphere.

   The food and service were excellent! We enjoyed the smoked salmon nachos that were delicious and very filling!

   This is our neighborhood go to place for dinner. Friday at 4:30 was very quiet and service was fast and food great We always enjoy going here

    Food was good, but a little expensive for a pub. Will go back again as it’s the only pub in the area. Service was excellent.
