Come dine with Michelin Guide awarded Chef Guillaume Robin at the Fabulous Wave Hotel. Influenced by the many flavors of Central and South America, and centered around a dramatic open theater kitchen, BACÁN is elevated yet approachable, innovative, and just a little bit unexpected.

To ensure the most sophisticated experience, we politely request all guests be respectful in their choice of attire while adhering to the following guidelines. For gentlemen we consider tank tops, sleeveless shirts, ripped jeans and flip flops too casual for our restaurant. Ladies are encouraged to wear dresses and skirts, casual dress pants, or jeans (no rips) with a stylish top. All guests should refrain from wearing ball caps, team athletic wear or clothing with offensive language. Any guest denied entry due to our dress code can be accommodated immediately or in the future after adhering to our attire guidelines.

    Honestly it’s very aesthetically pleasing, food was great, my significant other’s platter was a little salty but overall loved the scenery.

    The prices didn't justify the very small portions. Example, the King Crab dish has several pieces of pasta with almost no crab cost $50. They should just call it a pasta dish. The best part of the dinner experience were the cocktails.

    The pork chops were one of the best I've had from an Hi-end type restaurant.

    After picking my wife up at the train station, we wanted to have a nice dinner before driving home. We picked Bacan because we have been here in the past and had a wonderful dinner. We know the food, ambience and were looking forward to it. We made a reservation for the terrace. Upon arrival, we were seated at a large round table on the terrace that was designed for at least 6 people. We asked if they had a smaller table, they did not. Upon being seated at the table, the settings on the table seemed a bit off and the table looked kind of picked over. We didn't make much of it. After sitting for 25 minutes, a waiter finally acknowledged us; and 30 minutes in, we received a glass of wine. During ordering the wine, I expressed my concern regarding the lack of attention. The waiter was apologetic and said, "we are going to make this right." Jay M. did just that and we had a nice dining experience. Upon being seated, we asked a couple of people for a light for our table... it was very dark. After asking a third waiter 45 min in, we finally got a light. What we discovered was broken glass shards all over our table... which required that the table cloth be replaced. We received our appetizers 50 minutes into the meal and then got our dinner in a timely way afterwards. The waiter was most apologetic and worked very hard to make it a nice experience for us. Food was great! Lobster tostada, pork belly, croquettes... all were fantastic! Additionally, the carne asada and short ribs were delicious. Our dessert (key lime type of tart) was also delicious. After departing the restaurant, we went to the valet and turned in our ticket for our car... well, guess what, they lost our keys and were searching frantically for 15 minutes. They then showed us keys to our brand of car... are these it? I guess so... keys can look the same. It wasn't our car. Took another 10 minutes to find it. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this experience.

    The food was excellent! Our server was very nice but he didn’t explain much. We learned more by listening to the server at the table behind us lol. I’d like to come back and try other dishes with someone who spends more time explaining the options!
