Service is friendly and owner very nice. Food is not good. Scallops no. Ceviche was horrible. Meat over cooked. They claim a wine list of over 700 bottles. Didn’t have what I picked so recommended another more expensive bottle.

All of the employees were really nice. Perry was a good waiter. The chef came out to introduce himself, which is always nice. I ordered from the HRW menu. My food was ok, but my friend loved the peri peri chicken wings. I would consider returning to try their dinner menu.

We discovered this gem simply driving by. Chef Casey and his entire team really put the guest first. The blend of South African, Venezuelan and Argentinian was just magic! The overall ambiance was amazing as well including the Crooner who sang oldies and goodies by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. We definitely will share this gem with our network of friends and will be back!

The live music was a bit louder than it should have been, very hard to talk over the singer, but the staff, chef, wine, food were all fabulous! We will definitely be back… they have such a large and varied menu, can’t go wrong.

This was a second time visit. Wanted to support Houston Restaurant Weeks, so we dined for brunch. The price was superb for the amount of good we each got. Not sure I'd recommend the mystery mimosas, but it was fun to try......it's quite a tall drink order to finish. Thank you Chef Casey for coming out and saying hello to your guests. BTW, can y'all change the piano guy to a DJ, and maybe play some soft afrobeats during brunch? This is a South African restaurant after all. Let the world know our music, and they try our food.

Had high expectations for this place. The owner came over a few times. Support nice and great person. Overall maybe it was Houston Restaurant Week shenanigans and hiccups. Server was really slow and forgetful. The Fried Alligator was perfectly cooked. And the Ceviche although minimal portions was delicious but so small and all the pics had 4/5 shrimp and ours had one tiny one. Wife order the Oxtails which she seems to enjoyed. But was too much carrots and potatoes on the dish. I ordered the Steak and Shrimp Ribeye and never seen a Ribeye so thinly cut and mind you asked for Medium and was raw on plate arrival. Odd especially for such a thin cut. I did have to send it back but then it was over cooked and tough. Although did add some more shrimp. Was overall a disaster and left feeling unsatisfied with my meal. The Mint Pistachio Dessert was a pleasant surprise on taste and creativity but the Seis Leches Cake was dry and not very flavorful. They should be moist and cold. Overall I would like give the place a 2nd Chance. But think it may not be a place for us. There is so many dishes on the many and feel like they should cut down and focus on 25% of the menu and really get everything dialed in perfectly for the diner

The services were great and we went during HRW. The manager came out to ask us we are doing and waitress was tentative too. We would go here again. The food is really good.
