   Our steaks were cooked to perfection but the accompanying potatoes and broccoli were cold. The wait to get the food was quite long so we didn’t send it back. Disappointing given the late price.

   Delicious food. Excellent service, even though it was quite busy. Lovely atmosphere.

   The food was very good, but after the main course arrived, it seemed like they were making a point to make us wait. We needed to leave so we could get to a show, and we had to wait 30 minutes just to get our check so we could pay and the waiter took another 10 minutes to take our payment and another 10 minutes to bring our receipt, so we lost 45 to 50 minutes just to pay.

   We have eaten at Anthony’s both here and in Tacoma. We love their food and service. This past visit was a one-off,I am assuming. My husband has a severe shellfish allergy and the kitchens are well-trained in avoiding cross-contamination and take trainings regularly,we are told. We have never, EVER, had a problem. This time, he was affected during dinner. His feet and legs began to itch and swell and we gave him steroids and Benadryl immediately at the table. We know that the contamination probably did not come from the kitchen, but perhaps from the table itself, the dishes being touched by the waiter without washing his hands, etc…Either way, we had to leave and the manager just shrugged his shoulders. No apology. No help at all. I think it would be important to find out how this happened to avoid it in the future. I was underwhelmed with his concern or action.

   I’m a stickler when our server doesn’t refill our water. Goes to show that he is gone way too long at a time. We saw the server 2 tables down from ours more frequently. I’m giving it 3 stars for service because of our server. Took awhile for waters to be refilled, and has to be refilled by the server 2 tables away, didn’t offer vinaigrette and olive oil and again given from the server 2 tables away. Took awhile to come back to offer our dessert menu, but was fast enough to drop off our check even though we weren’t done with our meal. You k ow what reminds me when a check is immediately given to me and I’m not done with my meal - a diner - yes - felt I was eating in a diner on how the service was in this called restaurant.

   Ambiance was great. Ask for a window seat that looks out over the pond. We ordered from the 3 course sunset meals and there were several selections available. This is primarily a steak and seafood restaurant. They specialize in oysters and I ordered the crispy oysters as an appetizer. They were spicy and the highlight of my meal. Service was not rushed, just right.

   Great food and good service. The location is convenient and the restaurant is very nice. We will certainly be back!

   The food was excellent and service excellent. I have dined at many Michelin star restaurants and I live near Carmel, Ca. Anthony’s is by far the best dining in Couer Dalene Idaho. I have dined at the White House in Idaho also The Floating Green Restaurant. This is at least 1 to 2 stars higher.
