   It was okay. Food was okay, service was okay, atmosphere was okay. In an old bank, the ceilings are high and the vibe a bit echoey and empty. The staff did their job: said hello, took the orders, brought the food, brought the bill. Nothing more. The food was uninspired and unthemed (arabiatta next to halloumi bites next to cous cous) but tasted okay. Like the faux marble decor, it looks fine from a distance, but when you get up close it’s uninspiring and slightly disappointing.

   As per a few of the other reviews, some items not available. Beef tagine, vegetable cous cous and chicken schnitzel not on offer which is a shame when it’s a relatively small menu (I like smaller menus but you have to have it all available!). Service was at times slow but great when we got it. Seafood pasta was so good, lamb tagine lacked vegetables but meat was incredibly tender.

   Is a very quiet and nice place Good for a date dinner or small group Could be more worm inside but we love the place and the food All the staff is very friendly and helpful.

   A great menu, with lots of choice for brunch or lunch. The large room is light and airy and we liked the decor. Only two people were serving and even when there were only 5 tables occupied the service was slow. It's a sign of an attentive waiter that they remember what you've ordered especially when there are only two of you, but that wasn't the case here. Our tea order was almost forgotten until I caught her eye. P had a delicious omelette with good french fries. My Amelia's breakfast was bog standard. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing to get excited about. I should have chosen something else. On the table behind us their order went back twice and we got the impression the order had not been taken correctly. We'd certainly come again to try other things on the menu but the service, while pleasant, needs tightening up.

   Lovely staff, nice and clean. Had ran out of beef tagine on Friday evening but had lamb. Food was tasty, whilst the schnitzel and chips were hot , one of the salmon and mash was only warm ( the other salmon was hit but mash wasn't) We got cold at 9pm but would definitely give it another try in the summer to see if these wrinkles have been ironed out. Could use a little more atmosphere with the lighting

   An excellent meal with generous portions. The Tagine was exceptional ; piping hot and so tender!

   Although a Wednesday evening, we were 2 of only 4 diners. It was a little chilly and asked that the temperature was altered. This didn't make any difference. We would return, but disappointed in our first experience

    Thank you for a lovely evening, credit to the chef on Saturday night, the Moroccan lamb was perfect! Up there with the best.
