Located in the heart of Eau Claire, Alforno is currently offering Weekend Brunch Service from 8am-3pm and accepting reservations from 8am-10am Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. After 10am, tables are walk in only and assigned on a first come/first served basis. We kindly ask that, during peak periods, our guests limit their visit with us to 90 minutes from the start time of their reservation.
We are also offering an Afternoon Tea Experience daily from 3:30-5:00pm, inviting guests to unwind and enjoy freshly brewed teas, pastries and finger sandwiches made in house. Our Afternoon Tea Experience is available by reservation only at $40/person, and we ask that all reservations are made at least 24 hours in advance.

Service was excellent. More than I anticipated with afternoon tea. The scones were an absolute favorite. Will be back!

This experience overall was amazing! We had no idea it was one whole tea pot PER PERSON, it definitely made for a funny video. It was for a friend's 30th birthday and it was the perfect girls' relaxed night out. We had a couple girls that were late but the server was extremely kind and patient.

I recently visited for an afternoon tea with two friends. The atmosphere was lovely, and the fresh sandwiches and treats were enjoyable. However, we encountered significant issues regarding portion sizes and value. We received two trays: one for one person and another for two. The individual tray contained just 2 scones and 2 macarons, while the larger tray offered only 3 scones and 3 macarons for 2 people. This was embarrassing especially since we were paying separately . When I asked for clarification about the portion sizes, the explanation provided was not reasonable or satisfactory. I would recommend that the restaurant clearly communicate any limitations on portion sizes before bookings.

I’ve now done Alforno’s Afternoon Tea twice as it’s great value for money. At only $40/person this was one of the cheaper options in the city & the price didn’t affect quality at all! We were given just enough food, there was a good variety of teas available and the service was good. The only negative was the noise level…but that was no fault of Alforno’s. Would definitely recommend!

I really enjoyed my time here for afternoon tea. I was really impressed by the sandwiches. I normally don’t like croissants but it was delicious - really buttery and fluffy.i also really liked the tea! I got the Rooibos and it had a slight vanilla taste - didn’t need to add any cream or sugar and enjoyed as is.

The food was excellent! Nice selections and variety- all the classics for afternoon tea and more. The portions were generous and the presentation was lovely. The eclectic China dishes are beautiful. Sadly, the experience lacks ambiance. Despite this, it is an excellent value and I’d recommend!

I booked this afternoon tea to take my daughter out for a treat. When we arrived it was so busy and our table was not ready. When we were taken to our table it was not ready and mistook us for a table of 6 even though there was just us two standing there. We waited again and finally got to our table late. We got our tea and cakes and left to our own devices. We did not speak to anyone again and I had to flag down our server to get me a box and tell her we were done. She brought the box and I expected to get the bill at that time. We waited for 30 more mins and still did not see her so I got up to ask another server if I could pay, she said she would get our server. She didn’t come and then 10 more mins went by and she showed someone else to the table next to me and I tried to get her attention but she looked away and went back down stairs. I got up and went downstairs so I could pay. Our server was on the till helping someone so I lined up for 10 more mins and another person on the till asked to help me so I explained I wanted to pay and she said sorry you will have to wait for your server. I got back in line and waited for the customer in front to be done and when I finally got to the till my server did not acknowledge my long wait or anything. It was 50 mins from the time I got the box till I paid and left. I realize the place was busy but paying $40 per person for this tea, I would have expected better or at least any service. If you don’t have the staff to look after these afternoon tea customers then you shouldn’t be offering it. I am very disappointed in what should have been a lovely afternoon spent with my daughter.

We love afternoon tea and Alforno has a lovely one at a reasonable price! Lots of tasty bits with a good variety of flavours and textures. We only wished that the tea selection was better. Besides that, service was good (we didn’t expect much because it was a busy afternoon there), and the room was bright and airy. Not a traditional tea house, but we appreciated the fact that we were seated in the back corner under the skylight!
