At Alfresco Rooftop we offer a variety of Tapas Criollas (Puerto Rican delicacies) with vegan and vegetarian options. Nestled in an intimate setting its perfect for date night or even large parties we cater to all needs.

We are located on the 3rd floor of a historic building which was the location of the Puerto Rico Nationalist Party headquarters and apartment for Puerto Rican Freedom Fighter and party president Pedro Albizu Campos.

Rated by Tripadvisor as one of the best gastronomic destinations in Old San Juan 2021 to present. Rated Tripadvisor's Best rooftop wine & Tapas Bar 2019-2020

Join us on the intimate rooftop terrace of Don Pedro's former residence with a breathtaking skyline view of Old San Juan. Limited seating is available. Take in the setting sun before dinner with a Sangria Happy Hour until 6pm: buy one get one free (per person). Enjoy our grouper ceviche with a glass of Albariño, or one of our many takes on the traditional Moscow Mule. The Lavender Mule is perfect for relaxing on the intimate terrace under the moon and stars. If you're looking for a drink large enough for the entire party to share? Ask for the Jumbo Mule- you can share it with your neighbors or keep to your table. There's more than enough for parties of any size. We welcome you to join us on the 3rd floor!

This was such a great experience! It was a bit of a slow night, but the view was wonderful, the drinks were delicious, and the fries with seasoning were exactly what I wanted! Thank you so much for the fun night ☺️☺️

Be ready to walk up hill, at least coming from where we parked, sheesh wear comfortable shoes! We arrived and the greeter was preoccupied, we told her we had a reservation and said walk outside table with reserved sign. So we sat ourselves. No paper menus, once we scanned she came over. No diet soda options, ordered a cocktail.... it was sour, was supposed to be a coconut mojito and tastes like a key lime milky drink... and small in size... We ordered the charcuterie board to start, sliders and pana tostones with spicy crab as entrees. I understand it's tapas but don't see the issue with timing our order out. All the food came out at the same time. She didn't offer condiments and came to check on food quality way after the fact. Several tables had sat at this point and were biding for her attention. The view is ok, tops of other buildings not bad not the best. More staff would've been good, diet drink option best.
