   Acropolis is a wonderful addition to downtown Orlando. The menu is extensive, and everything that my friends and I have had there has been exceptional. The prices are quite low for food of such high quality. Acropolis also provides complimentary parking in the connected garage, which is unusual these days.

   We went to dinner with friends we hadn’t seen in a while and being able to talk over the music was a little tough. The dancing and plate breaking was fun, but the flying napkins that ended up on our plates was a bit much. The belly dancer was OK at first, but then annoying especially when one of her purple wings hit me in the back of the head. My friend and I had the pomegranate cosmo and they were great. We shared the appetizer sampler with the spreads and pita. The pita was heavenly. I had the Chicken Rhodes and it didn’t have a lot of chicken, but it was tasty. The orzo and veggies were average. My husband had the steak kabobs with rice. He said the rice was cold and the meat was a little tough. I would go back, but keep it to lunch, not dinner.

   Nice presentation on the flaming cheese, but it was so salty. The Gyro meat was extremely dry. The flavor of the pastitsio was good, however the béchamel top was flavorless and dry. The Athena fish was cooked perfectly and delicious.

That's not what we aim for, and we'll talk to our kitchen crew about making sure those are both on point. We'll also take another look at the pastitsio recipe – the top should definitely be creamy and tasty, not dry. We're happy you liked the Athenian fish, though!    From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear this wasn’t going to be just another night out. It was going to be an unforgettable dining experience. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between elegant and cozy, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that made us feel instantly at ease. The service was nothing short of exceptional. Mitch, the manager, made sure everything ran seamlessly, personally checking in to ensure our evening was perfect. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality set the tone for the night. When it comes to the food, Chef Alec is nothing less than a culinary genius. Every dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the dessert, it was clear that every ingredient was thoughtfully selected and expertly prepared. Each bite was an experience in itself, leaving us wanting more, even when we were full. And let’s not forget the drinks! The bartender created cocktails that were both inventive and delicious, with each sip hitting absolute perfection. I must also mention our server, who took the time to engage in conversation, adding a warm and personal touch to this fantastic experience. This wasn't just a dinner. It was an evening of perfection. Exceptional service, phenomenal food, a relaxing ambiance, and a team that clearly loves what they do. If you’re looking for the best dining experience around, this is it. Huge thanks to Mitch, Chef Alec, the host, the server, and the incredible bartender for making it a night to remember!

   This was the first time at this restaurant. Server was excellent, food, tasty and well portioned. Will return when back in Orlando.

   Great food and service for the second dinner here. The Athenian fish is fabulous and everyone loved their selections. Creative cocktails too. The atmosphere was fun, similar to a Greek wedding with dancing through the aisles and Greek music. We loved it!

   We don’t go out to eat often because we usually end up disappointed. We took a chance on this place for our Valentines dinner and we are very happy we did! Everything was amazing from the ambience, to the food, to the service. I honestly have no complaints. The saganaki was so delicious I wish I ordered two of them. The falafel was very good and crispy, I wish it had more sauce and pickled veggies on the plate though. The moussaka was absolutely delicious, I cleaned the entire plate. And the baklava cheesecake was to die for. Service was attentive and the napkin throwing and dancing was fun. The place is pretty on the inside. I wish our server would’ve asked us about the parking validation though because I forgot and ended up having to spend $13 even though it was supposed to be free. Definitely recommend the restaurant and we will be returning! Also the prices are really good for the value of what you get.
