Food is okay a little price for what is it’s. But you will have a good idea of Cuban food not the most authentic. If you go over over the weekend be advise they have live music which is a delight but it’s so loud you can’t talk at all! The acoustics of the restaurant aren’t meant to be for a live salsa performance band.

This is my second Cuban restaurant experience in Charlotte and I can’t believe it has taken me so long to visit! The service was amazing!! The red snapper!! I am from an island and the seasonings on that fish!!! Highly recommended!! Every appetizer was excellent!! The Tostones trios and the yuca cheese balls were to die for!!! Every dish was amazing the drinks!!!!???? Amazing mojitos!!! And please don’t leave without a cortadito it’s a little bigger than you will usually get but it was amazing!! And of course the music!!!!! The staff were all so friendly and our waitress Yoselyn was very attentive and accommodating!!!!! We will definitely be back

The guy that served up kept messing up our request. For example, we asked for our water in to go cups, he brought them in regular cups. The food I got, the pork chunks were nor seasoned. I guess they relied on the cooked onions for that. They were out of the fish we wanted and I got an alert from my credit card company asking me if I authorized a 52% tip! Which I DID NOT. If you go, pay with cash!

My husband and I have previously enjoyed this restaurant. And because he likes it so much, I made a reservation for Father’s Day lunch to include two grandchildren, two of our daughter’s, a family friend and his son. I had told everyone how much my husband likes going here. Upon arrival we were told that they had a “limited” menu. I didn’t find this unusual because it was a holiday and I assumed they expected a crowd. There were three other parties in the restaurant when we arrived, each with about 6 to 8 people. Their orders were taken almost immediately. After sometime we were given the menu options that were actually available. Several of us were disappointed to learn that there were no plantains. The waitress explained that the owner was “coming with plantains” and they would be available later. After deciding what to order and placing our orders we waited at least thirty minutes for the first meal to appear and then meals came out approximately every five minutes until my husband was finally given his meal about 25 minutes later. The food was barely warm, chicken was over cooked, ribs seemed to have been frozen and reheated. It was just a bad experience. I have no words for the disappointment I felt except to say that when we left, my husband, who is much more patient and understanding than I, said he would never go back.

Beign a cuban myself, food was ok, nothing to write home about. Honestly I make better at home. It was missing flavor. Even my 7 year old said it.

Food was very good, pork was a little fatty, but the flavor was good. Empanadas and beef were fantastic. Sangria was good. Live music was good, but so loud. I would have stayed longer if I didn't have ringing in my ears. Not a turn off at all, but you should know.
