This restaurant would fit in great in the DC area. Specifically Prince George’s County Great community for Black Female Owned Businesses. We support each other. Come check us out!!

Service was not the best, a-lot of waiting when it was not busy and staff was standing around conversing amongst each other. Food was great when we finally got it. Fortunately a different waiter noticed we had been sitting for a long time asked if we had even ordered yet. He checked on our food which had been sitting waiting for our waiter to pick up. The staff seems to be split between the dining and lounge area which made our wait time for service even longer. I doubt we will return to dine in but will just get food to go in effort to continue supporting black businesses.

We had a fabulous evening and Ronnie was a great server. The only bit of feedback we have is when you have a band playing very loudly next door, you should turn off the resteraunt music because they compete with each other and you can not enjoy music from either side. Other than that, we had an amazing meal at a place with a great overall vibe. Will definitely be back!!!

Food was excellent and very tasty. Fried chicken, catfish, and mashed potatoes were amazing. Banana pudding was really good as well. A few operational items need to be fixed--dishes came out at various times, not ideal. Cutlery not at tables when the first appetizer came out. Restaurant was SUPER LOUD--not just because the club next door had live music. It was virtually impossible to hear the person next to me. Dessert menu was great, but two important options were not available (peach cobbler and strawberry donuts). I'm not totally sure I'd come back. I did love the fact that it was a Black-owned business (I'm not Black, but I do support those businesses whenever I can) and it displayed southern culture and food very well.

Amazing food! Like flavored PERFECTLY, that chef deserves all the credit! I’m from Chicago so I love trying new foods. The vibe was beautiful, and I loved how they had the other side that was more of a lounge, GREAT music and hookah 😁 10/10

This place has an amazing vibe! The servers are great & timely. There were so many amazing options on the menu. We each (5 of us) ordered something different and shared so we could try everything. Serving sizes were great and every single plate we ordered was amazing! The Peach cobbler dessert was to die for! We will, most assuredly, be returning.

First time eating here. Service was great, everyone in our party enjoyed their food. Music was a pretty loud and they very nicely turned it down a little. Overall enjoyed our experience!!
