The food was very heavy handed and not well prepared. The Italian rolls at the beginning were heavy and doughy. The chicken entree tasted pre-prepared and was not brown. The sauce was gloppy and missing almonds as noted on the menu. The salmon was fine, nothing special. The server was friendly, but inattentive and slow. We had to chase down the check. They cleared away silverware after the appetizer and never brought new silverware with the entree we had to ask twice. We asked for more water and weren't service it. The ambience is still nice looking it is a shame the food and service weren't worth returning for as it is a great location.

Took my mom for her 80th BD, which was acknowledged by the hostess upon seating but then never again. Odd as to why “is this a special occasion?” is asked when making the reservation. After our food was served, never saw server again. Had to flag her for coffee and no refill offered. My handicapped mom couldn’t access the upstairs bathroom and can only use the restroom at an adjacent office building up an elevator which is locked without a server coming up to unlock.Good food but overall underwhelmed.

Great ambiance! Perfect before show at the Cadillac Palace. Bartender Zac was attentive and knowledgeable. Meatball and polenta app was amazing as was the short rib and polenta dinner!

Don’t waste your money. This is one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in years in the city. From the time we walked in where the hostess greeted us and then took 10 minutes to get us seated in a nearly empty restaurant and with a reservation, to the time we sat down having our food service totally rushed, and worst of all to the flavor of the food, which was completely lacking, This dinner was money wasted. The only saving grace was a well-made cocktail. We were told at just before 9 o’clock the chef wanted to know if we wanted dessert because they were closing up the kitchen. It was totally ridiculous.

I dined alone, so I think my service was impacted by this. I didn’t get service until about 20 minutes after I sat down. I saw my drink sitting on the bar not being picked up by the server for another while. My first course and main were brought almost simultaneously - it seemed like they wanted to get me in and out quickly since I was dining alone. My server only checked on me once, as he was running by. The food was delicious and my after dinner beverage was comped by the bartender which I appreciate, and almost made up for the awful service. An okay option for a pre theatre dinner.
