   This place is truly amazing. Jacob was our server and he was fantastic. Made great recommendations. The food was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

   Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at 1870. We went for to celebrate a birthday but will likely make this a regular spot. Service was great and food was decent. Portion sizes were enormous - great for sharing. We’ll be back often.

   Dinner was incredible. Went to the downstairs bar first for a drink, then to the main dining room for dinner. Food was amazing. Staff was attentive. And the decor and ambiance were perfect. Would highly recommend.

   Food was fabulous as was service. The restaurant is quaint & apparently always full. The popularity of the restaurant makes it a little too crowded. Overall fantastic!

   Great restaurant and experience! We went to 1870 Restaurant and Bar for my birthday and we were not disappointed! Victoria, our server, was amazing! She was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed chatting with her during our meal. The other staff who helped served our meal were also very friendly. Decor was lovely. Temperature was perfect! This is important for us ladies who don't like to freeze in dresses, short sleeves, or camisoles!! Thank you!!! Food was delicious! Portions were more than ample. Took some home so we could have dessert! Sound level was very nice. You could hear each other talk. Only negative is maybe a bit expensive... However, still looking forward to another visit to 1870!

   Waiter was personable but slow. We waited 15-20minutes after being seated/ our reservation time before being acknowledged. Then ordered a bottle of wine along with dinner selections. Our wine was brought out as we finished our soup- after we reminded we had ordered the bottle. Not certain why- restaurant didn’t appear busy

   My Daughter recommended 1870 to us for our 65th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have been more pleased with the occasion. The Service was great and the food was outstanding. We will defiantly be back.

   We had heard great things about this place and it lived up to the hype. We had wonderful service and our meal was amazing. We both got steak and loved the sauce/butter options. My cocktail was delicious, I forget the name but tasted just like key lime pie! We’ll definitely be back!

   Delicious food, knowledgeable servers and perfect atmosphere! This was a top dining experience from beginning to end. We ate at the bar on the second floor. Emily was the kind of server/ bartender that you just dont see anymore-proud of the establishment and the history of the building and beyond knowledgeable about every detail on the menu. We had delicious mussels and lobster bisque soup, then moved on to a whole fried fish and the salmon . Each was perfectly prepared We ended up sharing the bread pudding and that was the perfect cherry on top of our evening. This reminded me of a top restaurant in nyc. Chefs kiss!😘. We have already booked for Mother’s Day!
