A Sicilian by way of Chicago, from a family of Sicilian chefs and restaurateurs. He made a name for himself, serving Orange County for 30 years. Piccolino serves some of the best Italian inspirations in Orange County. Piccolino retains its Sicilian philosophy and passion for food by combining traditional old-world flavors and contemporary infusions. When Salvatore Faso opened Piccolino Ristorante in 2007, his goal was simple: to combine his lifelong experiences in the finest Italian restaurants with the finest ingredients, authenticity, preparation, and his passion for the Canyon and its surrounding communities. Piccolino Ristorante serves regional Italian cuisine, including artisan-made pasta, fresh wild-caught fish, and the finest meats and poultry on the market daily. Vintage décor, white tablecloths, and candlelit tables provide a romantic dining experience.

    Everything was perfect. The lasagna was excellent. Our waiter was personable and attentive. This was my second time enjoying dinner there. I will definitely be back.

    Had dinner reservations for Christmas Eve. We were seated promptly on our arrival. The waiter was very good and answered questions about the menu and dinner specials. We ordered cocktails which arrived a little slower the I would have liked however they were still timely given the how busy they were. The appetizers arrived quickly and were very good. The entrees also arrived fairly quickly and were warm and very good. Though they were busy they did not rush us out after dessert and coffee. Overall a very pleasant evening with family.

    Piccolino never disappoints! This was my husband and my first Christmas Eve without family so we decided to treat ourselves to a wonderful dinner. Lobster, porcini mushroom risotto with our favorite wine, Meomi. The restaurant was surprisingly busy, the service was great. Highly recommend!

    We have been going to Piccolinos’s for years.  We are always greeted with a big smile as we enter. The food , the service, the ambience are absolutely amazing. Piccolinos one of our family favorites. Molto bene

    I adore this place. Mostly because of the welcoming staff but the food was excellent as well. Definitely a gem that we will return to.
