Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. First time. Met Peter who is VERY present in the front of the house which a nice. Seemed understaffed as service was the weak spoke. But the meat was very nicely done and the busy staff were all friendly. Will be back.

We’re first time diners who really enjoyed our visit! Terrific food—we had lobster croquettes and the wedge salad to start, then the seafood spaghetti, and the pork chop. All very good! Attractive decor, friendly service, and seriously, the wine list is Extremely Reasonably Priced! We’ll be back!
