Food was great as always although noticed there are a few supplements to be paid now on certain foods. Eg an additional £20 for fillet steak (it was delicious), an extra £10 for halibut, (it was nice but not worth the extra in my opinion). Only other point was we were told they needed the table back at a certain time which we had no problem with but we had pre booked in advance and we didn’t delay anything, the service was slower than usual but it was busy. We had literally just finished when advised the table was required now. All in all a lovely meal with friends as always. Highly recommend.Mehr erfahrenHibou BlancPreis: Hoch• Britisch• Newcastle Upon Tyne•4,6

All well presented, tasty and reasonable value for money. We had a couple of glasses of the pinot grigio blush which wete lovely and also a couple of diet pepsi. Foe dessert we didn't have food, so we had lattes and a hot chocolate. All lovely and just enough after our main meals. Altogether a lovely meal in a lovely setting.Mehr erfahrenThe Woodmans ArmsPreis: Moderat• Britisch• Newcastle Upon Tyne•4,4

Food is delicious - and especially the steaks and best truffle & Parmesan fries I’ve ever tasted You can choose from both Porterhouse & Saltwater Fish menus which is quite unique in Newcastle Service is excellent and friendly and they have a great wine listMehr erfahrenPorterhouse Butcher & GrillPreis: Moderat• Steakhaus• Newcastle Upon Tyne•4,7

The staff are very friendly and helpful to make sure you get the best experience, great atmosphere and the food is outstanding! This was our third visit and it’s been superb all three times! I highly recommend the French quarter to anyone, especially anyone looking for the best French restaurant! Already looking forward to our next visit. Thanks again!Mehr erfahrenThe French QuarterPreis: Hoch• Französisch• Newcastle Upon Tyne•4,8

Feb. 2025My wife and I made our first visit to The Broad Chare for lunch, upstairs in the dining room, to celebrate my birthday, and what an excellent choice we made. We decided to mark the occasion by having the T-bone steak to share - we realised that neither of us had ever had that cut before - and I can't imagine it could be better. The meat was perfectly cooked, the blue cheese salad was delicious, it was a memorable dish. The starters were excellent as well - can't say much about the desserts because all we were capable of by that stage was lemon sorbet each! When we arrived there was only one other table occupied, but it soon filled up and was a really good atmosphere. Staff were all friendly and efficient. A bit pricy, but it was a birthday lunch and definitely worth it!Mehr erfahrenThe Broad CharePreis: Hoch• Britisch• Newcastle Upon Tyne•4,8
