The George hotel is a beautiful 400 year old hotel, currently only used as a restaurant. Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years. The menu boasts an array of fabulous dishes, from the traditional 'pub grub' with our 2 for £16 menu, to our in house dry aged Steaks, cooked to perfection by our chefs or brought out to you on our signature sizzling hot stones. Brilliant new restaurant in the wider Bristol and Bath area. Easy to reach. Enough parking spaces. Very nice atmosphere, excellent food and fantastic service. The beef brisket was tender and delicious. We tried all appetisers and they were all good. My partner is celiac and we were able to eat here, because they have many GF options and they take care of cross-contamination. I highly recommend this place for a dinner or an afternoon tea.

Great selection of vegan tapas - good size portions and all absolutely delicious. Reasonable prices (including highly rated alcoholic drinks) and will definitely dine here again.
