Good location, nicely laid out interior and welcoming staff. Menu offered was amazing and varied with a great selection of quintessential Italian delights. Quality of food was outstanding, fresh, flavoursome and good portions - ambience was as expected but we did eat at a quieter time and confident it gets busy due to quality of food on offer. Overall really enjoyed our experience and highly recommended.

Great food, great service. I’ve been in plimsoll before because their burger. I couldn’t come back with some friends to let them try it too. We got 5 burgers but at the end we ordered 3 more with extra cheese and at the end they were even better. My friend was looking for bacon but for me the crunchiness of meat was enough. Very good balance of flavours. I tried many burgers but probably this is the best in London. I was a bit sad realising they removed the green salad with walnuts from the menu cuz it was really good but I understand can be because the seasonal changes etc. Another must to try are the potatoes with aioli. We also got other dishes but I would say these 2 were the best. The pub was full but the service was fast. The kitchen is not big but they are very organised. Same with table service, we had some requests and the blonde girl who served us was really nice and patient haha I forgot to asked her name for the mention Overall a great experience! We celebrated my son's 18th here after a fantastic day in Camden he loves Fish and chips so we thought it would be a good option and we weren't wrong! The food was fresh and delicious and the service outstanding. They made a real fuss of him and we all had a great time! I would highly recommend Poppies!
