Fantastic lunch with friends, fabulous seafood, one of the best meals we have had, not able to fault a single thing. X

We were quietly celebrating a good friend’s birthday and drove from Colchester to eat at this beautiful restaurant. The interior is magical with its hanging lights and cavernous dining hall. The food is 100% vegetarian and vegan and so, as vegetarians, we could choose anything from the menu in comfort. One of our diners has a gluten intolerance and the waiter advised us, knowledgeably, about the appropriateness of each item ordered. The food was wonderful! We shared a mixed starter and all commented on the quality. The main dishes were fresh; the dosa was crispy as it should be. The staff were attentive, but not too attentive, and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We all talked about what a lovely experience the evening had been on the drive home.

Very quiet evening- Monday in November is to be expected. Venue is lovely, looks recently refurbished or refreshed. We were made very welcome by their team, service was good. Food was fresh and hot with some good choices. Quality was excellent. Value fir money also. Many thanks to the team.

Sunday roast dinner was lovely, good portions. Deserts also a good size. Best expresso martini the birthday girl said! Nice quiet part with plenty of room for baby. Would recommend and go again!

All three of us had excellent food and service We agreed we would go back but in warmer weather
