Welcome to SKÅL Nordic Dining - the neighbourhood Nordic restaurant located in a Grade II listed building at 149 Upper Street - a well-known address for high quality Scandinavian food and drink. Our restaurant SKÅL, meaning ‘Cheers’ in Swedish, opened on the 2nd of December 2019. We serve traditional Nordic recipes but with a modern, seasonal twist - all underpinned by the term 'husmanskost' meaning traditional home cooked Swedish food. Wonderful afternoon. The food was delicious, the atmosphere in the restaurant was business like but relaxed and welcoming. If only we could have stayed a bit longer to order some more good eats, with good conversation. Definitely will be back to revisit this lovely gourmet experience.

A simple menu but all delicious. Everything is gluten free except the rye bread, obviously, and including the desserts. I recommend the meat balls. End the meal with a small glass of aquavit. Lovely meal.
