An intimate & informal space, with a DJ booth & bespoke sound-system: Jazu is a Hi-Fi Cocktail bar that offers serious drinks and music. In the kitchen, we run a rotation of pop-ups – with February being host to a month-long residency by GrillBird. A menu of yakitori & small plates, chefs Ben and Scott (previously of The Quality Chop House) adopt a no-waste ethos, using every part of the bird – which are sourced from Fosse Meadows Farm.There's Homemade Shokupan - a light and fluffy Japanese milk bread - served with Miso Butter; crunchy-coated Karaage chicken with hot maple syrup; and skewers that include Chicken Liver w/ Black Vinegar Caramel, and the Tsukune w/ tangy Gochujang & Cured Egg. For something sweet, there's Mitarashi Dango; traditional Japanese rice dumplings licked with a sweet soy glaze, served on a skewer with a sprinkling of peanuts and whipped cream.Previous residents include Lá Lôt; Duda Diner; Wavey Bar Hastings.
