Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. Our group of 4 enjoyed a tasty Sunday lunch menu offered good selection of starters too we were seated in the semi open snug area which had a really nice relaxed atmosphere and good service.

This was our first time eating here and I can confidently say it will not be our last. Lovely people. Family orientated. Food excellent. Best kleftico/lamb shank ever and veg and potatoes just so tasty. Parking a little difficult but that seems to happen everywhere now. The bread and dips placed on our table very quickly and I knew the rest was going to be good as the bread was at the correct crispiness and tasted good.
