Peppercorn’s Grill is owned and operated by the Cialfi siblings, Sal and Dino, Brothers Sal and Dino purchased Peppercorn's Grill in 1989 and opened Piccolo Arancio in 1994. This generation of Cialfi's has added modern creativity and personality to traditional strengths of their Italian roots. Sal and Dino were trained in the art of Italian food at their uncle's restaurant in Rome. When the opportunity to open a restaurant arose, they jumped at the opportunity and opened the first Piccolo Arancio in Rome. Piccolo Arancio was internationally acclaimed within their first year. Haven’t been for a few years but the return was worth it. The food was fabulous and the service was really attentive. Joe was our server and never had to ask for anything. It was almost as if he could read our minds. Had the scallops and as I remember them, melt in your mouth delicious. There were only two setbacks. The bread was actually cold. Would have been nice if at least warmed. And the room was a little noisy. Hard to hear my partner across the table. But other than that, a very pleasant evening out. Would highly recommend.
