Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. My bride and I shared the broccolini and the ricotta toast, which were fabulous. Then we split the arugula and prosciutto pie and orecchiette pasta, and again—home run! Nice ambience. Industrial decor. Service friendly, timely and kind. Love it!

Booked a reservation for my anniversary and the staff and the PY steak house treated my spouse and I excellent with great hospitality and gestures. Would definitely recommend for any special occasion, 10/10.

This was our first time back in almost a decade, and the food was still great. The service was a little slow, and there were a lot more kids around this time, but overall, the experience was enjoyable. The sashimi combo was fresh and was a great value for 9 large pieces of sashimi, 2 nilgiri, and any roll (we got the flaming Del Sol roll, of course). The chicken teriyaki was perfectly cooked with a well-balanced sauce that wasn't too salty like other places. My wife ordered two additional rolls since there were three of us, and both rolls were delicious. We plan to come back when we visit Tucson again in the future, and we highly recommend it!

The overall experience was great there were larger tables than ours that got more attention but the food was excellent and for being in a casino it was quiet and relaxing.
