The Ferry Inn is a serendipitous country public house with welcoming staff, character rooms, candlelight, open fires, real ales, popular foods and fantastic sunsets. A 17th Century former smugglers haunt-- this is a pretty little pub in a lovely marshland setting with tables and benches on the front terrace and in the back alongside the riverbank. Inside it's very easygoing and chatty. The main bar has hop-draped painted beams, a green dado, and stools against the bar where they serve a beer called Oxney Ale specially brewed for the pub by Westerham Brewery. To the right is a cosy eating area with wheelback chairs-- ideal for a banquette with friends around a few long tables.

Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. Im Speisesaal, der in sanftes Jadegrün und Blassrosa getaucht ist, finden 50 Personen auf Sitzbänken platz, die sich jetzt ein klares Bild von der offenen Küche machen können. Die neue Speisekarte bleibt Adams Kochstil treu und umfasst Interpretation der großen Klassiker in ungezwungener und aufgeschlossener Atmosphäre. Die Küche präsentiert ein Drei-Gänge-Menü mit sechs Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen, mit jeweils unterschiedlichen Preisen. Die Weinkarte bietet weiterhin das großartige Angebot der „Chefs Weinkellerliste“ (Sie zahlen nur die Mehrwertsteuer und eine Entkorkungsgebühr). Im Hauptweinkeller auf der ersten Etage tragen 400 neue Weine zu mehr Quantität und Qualität auf der Weinkarte bei.

This is a local for us, every time we come the food always exceeds our expectations. The pub has a pleasant feel and good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming, trying to meet your needs. I would 100% recommend this place if you want fabulous food, a warm atmosphere and friendly service.

First time I have visited The Ferry since the opening of their new dining room. What a great extension to the pub and clearly helps with service from the kitchen The roast beef was excellent and overall the Sunday lunch was reasonable value at £60 per head including service and drinks

Loved the experience at eadn. Staff were amazing. Food was also really delicious. Talk about the drinks? Good value for money and overall my friend and I had a lovely time. Looking forward to visiting again.

A thoroughly exceptional meal from beginning to end. The attention to detail and craft across all our plates was truly wonderful. The wine recommendations were spot on from a wine list that starts with a whole page of local wines. The staff were superb, clearly as passionate about the food and overall experience as we were.
