Rengaya has been serving YAKINIKU in North Sydney since 1993, making it one of Australia’s pioneering Japanese barbeque restaurants. Now, that tradition is set to continue at its new digs on Miller Street – just a short stroll from the original location – in a much more modern, striking setting. The new fit-out features bar-counter seats around an open kitchen, red booth seating divided by Japanese-style timber panelling and a hard-to-miss chandelier. Wonderful dinner prepared and serviced by a group of amazing students. All the food was amazing, especially the sirloin beef and the coconut crème brûlée.

I found Elements Brasserie via a search online and saw the Surf & Turf Monday special, so booked it in. The food quality was quite impressive and the service was very friendly and professional. The ambiance and aesthetic of the restaurant was really quite nice too (except for the table near us with young children running around everywhere!). Will definitely return and am excited to try other meals on the menu too (as well as the S&T again!!).
