Absolutely delicious food and friendly staff. Thoroughly recommend

I must say that I have been to this place several times and enjoyed the relaxed coastal vibe it has. This is largely due to the location which overlooks the Anglesea river, but also the old weatherboard building and covered veranda that comprise it. This makes it ideal to enjoy some of the yummy food, largely geared towards sharing, and accompanied by a refreshing drink. On Sundays there is the bonus of catching some fine local music as well, which on our visit featured the laidback tunes of the Beachniks. Now that is exactly how I would want to spend every Sunday afternoon.

I had beef cheeks as a main meal and it was delicious. The pale ale beer was very good from the craft brewery.

The food was amazing. but the noise level was so loud that we had to leave, couldn’t understand what each other were saying at all.

Fantastic food ten out of ten, brilliant, staff were fantastic
