The whole experience was first class, the staff were superb and always on hand checking everything was OK. The food was cooked and presented beautifully The lunch service had a buzz without being overcrowed.

Very nice evening at Essence the staff were very lovely, the setting was beautiful, we had the tasting menu the food was very good, the only area we felt was a shame was the base layer in the sauces with each meal was the same notes in spice etc it would have been nice to have had different tastes throughout the menu but was still very good. The steak was excellent, very tender. Disappointing that that fishmonger hadn't turned up so there was very little fish on the menu. Plenty of gluten free options too.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent food.

First time trying the White Hart and the Sunday roast didn't dissappoint. Portion sizes were ample and it was delicious. Service was a little slow but this wasnt an issue. Lovely atmosphere and very dog friendly. Well definitely be back again.
