Taking hospitality back to its roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team breathing new life back into the heart of the community. Serious meat lovers can expect 45 day aged native and rare breed steak on offer as well as a hero dish of Beef Wellington for two. Fish is of course wild, sustainable, and British, sourced from day boats on the South coast with the daily catch delivered straight to the door in a matter of hours. There is a handsome bar menu too, and as always, Sunday roasts are a big fixture on the menu every week.

My brother and I took my Dad out for a birthday lunch. We had to reschedule to meet in Reading last minute and Cote had availability. We arrived at 1.30pm and got given a choice of tables, we chose a lovely round table by the window and had such a lovely lunch. The service was immaculate, really attentive without being too much, food was delicious and delivered in good time but not too quick, and the ambiance was excellence. The maitre d’ clearly took pride in running a slick service and really couldn’t have asked for more! Fantastic, thank you.
