We were a large party of 14 and the staff could not have been more attentive and helpful. With all the extras we ordered, clearing away and dealing with the variety of drinks orders. All with smiles on their faces. But on top of the great service from the moment we all arrived, the food was excellent! Very large plates full of roast dinners. All the extras of stuffing, gravy jugs and cauliflower cheese and not one part of our order was wrong and everything on the menu available. Once we also came to pay and leave they were still very accommodating and chatty and they made us all feel extremely welcome. Would highly recommend.

Not been there for a long time and was very pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of the food. Always a good dining experience at Roys. It's usually quiet enough so you can enjoy a conversation without having to raise your voice. Food is of a high quality with good options for everyone. Desserts are great too and service is polite and reasonably quick. Highly recomendded.

We were a party of 6, 3 generations. 5 of us ate different dishes and we were all very happy with our choices. The food was well cooked and the portions were generous. The service was friendly and efficient. We will go again.

The room we were in was pleasant and as there were only 2 tables of people having afternoon tea it was quiet in there, so easy to chat. The service was good - very pleasant people. The food and selection was good - nothing spectacular but all very tasty, and we were given boxes to take away anything we couldn't finish. The only thing that would mark it down for us was they we were not offered a top-up of tea. We would probably have been given it if we had asked, but other venues offer it without you having to ask.
