Opting for the 5-course tasting menu during our visit on Wednesday evening, we were treated to a journey of flavours that were as refined as they were inventive. From the very first bite, it was clear that each plate had been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. A busy lunchtime with a wonderful atmosphere and great service - friendly, efficient and fun. Great choice on the nenu and specials board and great value set lunch menu. Very reasonably priced. No wonder it’s so popular.

Wow. What a lovely discovery this pub is. From the moment we walked in the place felt welcoming, with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a great selection of drinks, including a rather excellent Japanese Whiskey. The food is delicious, freshly prepared, tasty, decent portions without being overwhelmingly large, I had the stacked burger which was superb, my wife had Scampi, which she said was equally tasty. The staff were super friendly, actually having time to stop for a chat, rather than just serve. Such a refreshing change to find a pub that feels like it puts making you feel welcome top of its list. Definitely one to return to.

Booked online, never been before. Lovely pub with relaxed atmosphere. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was excellent, lamb’s kidney starter was epic. Steaks were delicious and well cooked. Overall good experience and well worth a visit. Thank you very much.
