You’ll find Plate at No. 6 down a cobbled lane in the heart of Windsor, nestled amongst the pubs and boutiques of the old town. We are a tapas restaurant, drawing upon the culinary riches of the Mediterranean Basin; our plates reflect the diversity of cuisines found in Spain, Turkey, France, Morocco, Italy, Greece and Lebanon. All our dishes are created by our head chef Olindo who draws on these inspirations his signature dishes including a seafood gnocchi.The open kitchen and lime wash walls define the chic, intimate dining space of Plate at No.6. Our famous Mediterranean warmth and relaxed ambience welcomes work mates and first dates, quiet drinks, and family celebrations.A selection of wines have been selected by Sicilian sommelier and Italian wine expert Virgilio Gennaro and cocktails are designed by Regan Fernandes to compliment the fresh, coastal flavours that will revolve around seasonal and local availability. We visited Reis Bar and Grill in Ruislip on a Saturday evening around 7 PM, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. My partner had the tomahawk steak with chips (10/10, by the way), our little one had chicken nuggets and chips, and I ordered the sea bass. The cocktails were not only delicious but also Instagram-worthy, with great presentation. The food was served with a dramatic dry ice effect, which was a nice touch. The waiters were warm and attentive without being overbearing, which made us feel really comfortable. Booking online was seamless, and everything ran smoothly. Unfortunately, my son wasn’t feeling well, so he didn’t eat, but I ended up sharing some of the tomahawk steak, and wow—it was incredible. The sea bass was nice, and the sauce was good, but it wasn’t quite my kind of dish (I’m a bit fussy with food). To top it off, we ended up meeting the manager - thanked us for our visit at the end, which felt really genuine. We’ll definitely be back for the fantastic food, cocktails, and just the overall good vibes.

Our server was warm friendly efficient and take excellent care of us. Our food was delicious and the portions were more than sufficient. We had a lovely experience and look forward to our next visit.
