Carlton Wine Room is a neighbourhood restaurant offering a well-executed, fresh, seasonal food menu, and an ever changing, diverse wine list featuring the best of Italy, Australia and the rest of the World. A surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and 15% on Public Holidays. OUTSIDE SEATING: please note this is subject to the weather and we may not be able to move your reservation inside in the case of bad weather. The confit of duck was fabulous and the rose panna cotte divine. Tristan is an excellent service provider, looking after his tables with efficiency and grace.

Carlton wine room is a well oiled machine. A genuine effort to make the dining experience special but still remain approachable and keeping the vibe. Took my partner there last night for her birthday and it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a few years. Well done guys, we’ll be back!

Brilliant meal! The steak tartare oysters were a stand out as were the beetroot with beans and the spring salad. And you have some great non-alcoholic options - much appreciated - keep them coming! (The chilli that reappeared in different dishes felt unnecessary and like it muted some of the nuance of other flavours.) Thanks for a lovely evening.
