Nestled in downtown Los Gatos, Polenteria serves up Italian cuisine, that is Celiac safe. We are a small 22 seat restaurant, that is very intimate. With a European feel, many of our guests proclaim that they have been whisked away to Italy or France. We love that! Many accolades from the SF Chronicle, and the Mercury News as well as Eater SF hail Chef Yvonne and her team at Polenteria for being on the cutting edge of the Gluten Free Movement, and more importantly providing a safe space for those with Celiac to dine without hesitation. We have been here several times. My husband has Celiac and it's so wonderful to come to a restaurant that has no gluten so he doesn't have to worry about any cross-contamination. The food is spectacular and you would never know the bread is gluten free. The service is very attentive and the price is reasonable for type of food and service you receive. The restaurant is very small but you feel like if you are in a cozy dining room and in spite of the close proximity to other diners, it still feels very intimate.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our friend’s birthday. Food was good, ambience great, cocktails were excellent and the service was par excellence. Alex was courteous, professional and made our celebration special. Highly recommend the restaurant. Will definitely come back again.

Dio Deka did not disappoint. The food was amazing as always and our server Marco was the best. My family of five enjoyed their meal and the outstanding service.

We had a guest couple from Japan, and we wanted to tale them to a place that is uniquely American. Bella Saratoga is, of course, and Italian restaurant, but its farm house building, ambience, service, and the whole concept is uniquely American. The food is always great, and service was friendly, and most importantly, our guest friends were very happy. We keep coming back to this place, and we will contuse to do so special occasions.

The service was impeccable; upon entering throughout the meal. All of whom were 25 or younger but had the experience of service excellence that you would expect from Michelin tiered restaurants. Totally will come again at least once a quarter if not more. So many types of fondue that we can’t wait to try. Again, the food was excellent but the service was so on point that this review deserves more stars than available to giveaways 🤙🤙🤙
