The location spans 1,700 square feet, seats 50 inside and 20 people on the patio and will feature a California – Italian menu.     Nice spot! It was our first time in, we've been meaning to go for ages. Initially, the arrival experience was definitely lacking, but at the table service was lovely and attentive. The menu is smaller, and more California Italian than traditional Italian, but everything we ordered was tasty, and the portions are very generous. The noise level was much louder than expected - it's not a great choice if you're looking to enjoy a quieter conversation - but it seems great for younger families or other groups or 3 or more.

    Four stars very good fits perfectly for Teakwood. We've been Burma Love fans for years and Teakwood is a welcome addition to the Hayes Valley pre-event scene. Our server was very sweet, and while service overall was a bit disjointed, it was understandable. They handled the pre-theater rush well. The atmosphere is bright and lovely and the food was very good.

    Everything was fantastic! Service, food, value, atmosphere. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. Felt like we were welcome family. The taste of everything was delectable! So many great options. Would highly highly recommend for a date night or gather! Can’t wait to come again!
