We really dug the vibe. The interior is really stylish. The only thing we thought that was lacking was our particular server’s service. When I requested a second cocktail and asked him to surprise me with something vodka based, he brought a “French 76”, made with vodka instead of gin. Notwithstanding whether or not such a drink exists vis a vis the known “French 75” drink, he should have known that I had JUST finished a French 75, in part because I had the same gin style glass on my table. This is not service I would expect from a Michelin level restaurant (I know this one did not get one, but maybe you are gunning for it), many of which me and my wife have been too, including multiple Three Star restaurants! The waiter should be more aware as being delivered such a drink might be thought of as being lazy or dismissive towards the diner. My wife and I are well prepared to pay large amounts for a top notch dinner as well, and we are more likely to do so when a restaurant succeeds in ALL categories.

Our waiter provided superb service and allowed us ample time to enjoy our meal. The food was amazing and reminded me of my trip to Florence. The wine selection can’t be beat and all at a great price point. Great restaurant!!

Amazing Experience!!! We had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Rumi’s Kitchen in Houston. The ambiance of the restaurant was stunning—warm, inviting, and sophisticated with beautiful lighting and decor that set the tone for a special meal. The food was simply outstanding. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, and each one exceeded our expectations. The Lamb Rack was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. The Chicken Barg was juicy and seasoned beautifully, while the Koobideh was richly spiced and paired wonderfully with the aromatic rice dishes. The Zereshk Rice added a unique tart and sweet twist that complemented the proteins. We also tried their appetizers, including the Mast Khiyar and Lamb Hummus, which were fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor. To end the meal, the White Chocolate Cardamom Cake and 8-Day Budino were heavenly desserts—light, sweet, and the perfect way to finish. Rumi’s Kitchen truly delivers a fantastic combination of food, service, and atmosphere. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for exceptional Persian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Thank you, Rumi’s Kitchen, for making our lunch unforgettable. Excellent restaurant. 5/5 in all areas. Had the Miso Salmon and it was some of the best tasting Salmon I’ve had in a long time. My guest enjoyed their meal as well. Staff is very friendly and everything was served in a timely manner. Best dining experience I’ve had in Houston so far.
