We celebrated my friend's 50th birthday at Don Coqui and the experience was from the moment I made my reservation until the end. The customer service called me prior to the event and explained to me the celebration package. The service was very special, they made a personalized menu on a lighted pad and seated us on the best area by the water with a magnificent view of NYC. We came during sunset and the skies were so pretty. The food was amazing, it was served warm, good portion and it did not just looked good, but it tasted amazing too. We ordered the seafood paella and it came with half lobster and a huge crab claw. The skirt steak and the short rib was also delicious and very tasty. The rice and beans were perfect. The interior of the restaurant was also very modern and stunning and the music was lively. This restaurant is great for a special celebration. The value was also amazing. We had plenty of food that we had some to go. The birthday celebrant received a special sparkler candle with the dessert, a personalized sign and a props birthday cake. The staff and the other also sang happy birthday. The managers were very friendly and accommodating. It was a great experience from start to finish and we would definitely come back.

Very impressed with the food here. The seafood and Greek options were all delicious. They have a great happy hour until 7 PM with cheap drinks and good appetizers. It turns into quite a loud place after 9 PM with a club vibe. Definitely recommend it for a date night or fun night out with friends. If you come with the family I would come before 8 PM.
