Grounded is a funky restaurant located in a high rise business tower on the edge of Carling Avenue near Kirkwood. It is well laid out, seating comfortable and you order through a QR code which was a first for our table. It was easily managed but am sure if we needed a hardcopy menu one would be available. Food was delicious and a nice selection. We found the music too loud unfortunately - not too loud that one could not converse but once some hearing loss enters the picture all music is too loud. So not a minus at the restaurant. We all agreed we would come back for the food, service and ambience.

It was absolutely amazing. The food is amazing, the service is some of the best I have had anywhere. It was a great experience, definitely a must try and I will be back many times.

My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary breakfast at the Clarendon, I had left a note about this special day and the staff attended to us with great care and enthusiasm. The food, to top it all off was delicious. We highly recommend visiting and enjoying a meal at the Clarendon!

Been several times now before an event at the NAC, so close to the venue. Menu has many great options to choose from, and this past visit, the server recommended a change in a menu item so that our dairy-free needs could be met. Quiet environment, nice change from very loud restaurants where you can't hear your fellow diners over the music and the crowd. We find it abit expensive, but we tell ourselves it's a treat, it is the Lord Elgin restaurant. On that note, i find the online reservations system weird - telling me only two options were available for reservations, yet when i called directly i was able to get a time/table that i wanted. And once there, we saw many empty tables, not reserved so perhaps the Hotel keeps some tables unreservable so that hotel guests have priority access. We will go back again before or after attending events at the NAC.

Food was great, service was friendly, fast. Weird was only table in whole restaurant at 545-7ish on a Wednesday evening. Never ever had this experience. Would not want to do that again.
