Delhi Dhaba was established in July of 1991 by a local Arlingtonian family that emigrated from New Delhi to the United States in the 70’s. Their vision was to bring the colors, flavors, and riches of a traditional Indian Dhaba to the locals in the metropolitan area. Traditionally, a Dhaba is a roadside restaurant or cafe found on highways and on the outskirts of cities, towns, and villages. Dhabas were initially started by enterprising Punjabi’s to cater to the needs of truckers, for wholesome, clean, and hot authentic Punjabi food at any hour of the day or night. Over the years Delhi Dhaba has become one the most well known and respected Indian restaurants in Arlington. The family continues to push the envelope of new ideas everyday while staying true to their culture and values.

Die im Tandoor-Ofen gebackenen eignen sich nicht nur hervorragend, um die Soßen zu dippen, sondern schmecken auch blank ganz hervorragend. Das Naan mit Koriander und Steinsalz ist köstlich und das Kulcha ist großzügig mit Lammhack gefüllt. Masala Art bietet Kombinationen die man in der Umgebung nicht findet, aber auch die bekannteren Gerichte werden hier zu einer echten Offenbarung. So etwa die Samosas. Sie sind flockiger als die der Konkurrenz und ihre Füllung aus Erbsen, Kartoffeln und süßen Rosinen schmeckt frischer. Ein Hauch Kardamom bei jedem Bissen rundet das Aroma ab.     I love this place! It's always a good experience with great service and even better food. Everything on the menu is top notch, but my go to is the Bombay thali, a delicious variety of vegetarian selections.

    This was a fantastic place for a group. Restaurant was very accommodating when we needed to change our reservation from 6 to 7 diners. Fantastic quality. The restaurant was new to some of the guests and they had a great experience.
