Appreciated the attention to their job responsibilities of the hostess and waitress. The hostess actually asked me if the table she was going to seat us at was okay. This never happens any more. She was aware of a large table of diners near us and took initiation to be sure our location would be okay. Waitress was personable and efficient

Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants. I usually go for dinner monthly. The night I went was a Saturday night very very busy. Service wasn’t great. But the food was excellent.

The food was absolutely delicious! My friend and I came here on a Wednesday evening so it was quiet and not too many guests. To start, they offer a complimentary bread basket that includes 2 white rolls and this bread that has cranberries and something else I am not sure but never it was—it was by far some of the best bread I’ve had. SO tasty!! Next, we split the calamari and a fall harvest salad as an appetizer (absolutely amazing—that salad is one of the best I’ve had). Everything came out quickly! For entrees she got the steak frites and I got the red wine braised short rib. I wish the rib size was a little bigger but it was still delicious and she enjoyed her meal as well. And then we ended with dessert. She got the pumpkin bread pudding, which was HUGE and I got the chocolate molten lava cake which was homemade and ACTUALLY molten. Very delicious as well. I would give this place a 9/10! Again, just a small deduction because of the size of the rib and it could’ve used a little bit more flavor. But overall, I really enjoyed this place. And the price was well worth the experience! I’ll definitely be back! Oh and our waitress, Shannon, was great at checking in, clearing the table throughout the meal and not rushing our entree when she saw we were still tackling the appetizers.

Three of us ladies "reunited" in a quiet corner for lunch. We spend hours eating and talking without interruption. Our server was wonderful, checking in from time to time but letting us go at our own pace. All three of us chose from the special lunch: choice of side salad, cup of soup and half of a sandwich for only $19. My friends raved about the onion soup; I thoroughly enjoyed the the seafood chowder. The chop salads were tasty and we all took home the sandwich half because we were so full. Although my husband and I have often enjoyed dinner at One Bistro, this was the first time I've been there for lunch. We all agreed: We'll go back!

I had dinner with a colleague at the One Bistro in Norwood on a Tuesday night. This was my second visit to One Bistro. I had a great experience the first time so I was eager to visit again. We arrived for our 6:15 reservation, which I made with ease through the Opentable link on the One Bistro's website, and were promptly greeted and led to our table. We were staying at the hotel for a company training and we had a large, scrumptious lunch and fresh baked snacks there earlier in the day. For this reason we decided to skip appetizers. Our server Arcely, greeted us warmly, and then brought over the bread basket- with warm rolls and a delightful cranberry bread. We both ordered a glass of wine. For an entree, I followed my knowledgeable colleague's lead and ordered the Steak Frites- with a modification- we opted for the mashed potatoes instead of the Truffle Parmesan Fries. Make no mistake, I enjoy Truffle Fries but it was a cold night and the substitution of mashed potatoes sounded like an excellent idea. Our server graciously made this modification for us. From the moment I sank my teeth into the perfectly cooked steak tips, I knew this was a dining experience I'd savor. The meat was incredibly tender, seasoned well, and cooked to absolute perfection. The mashed potatoes were a great choice, they were creamy, buttery, and when combined on the fork with a bite of Steak, Pan Jus and Bleu Cheese crumbles, made for a delicious combination. I ate every bite on my plate,which was tough as it was a large portion, but somehow I managed! For dessert I had the Pumpkin Praline Bread Pudding- this was the perfect ending. The custard was moist and the topping was buttery, and rich. I love pecans so this whole combination worked for me. The creaminess of the vanilla Gelato brought it all together I somehow managed to eat more than half of my dessert. Overall, we had excellent service, a great atmosphere and a delicious meal. Jo was an excellent server! She has an amazing memory and got both our drink and meal orders correct, without writing anything down; and there were 4 of us! Our meal was quite good. We’ll definitely be back!
