Wir waren mit 8 Personen abends im La Obica essen. Pizza und Pasta schmeckten uns sehr gut. Der Wein war allerdings recht teuer und der Service hätte aufmerksamer sein können. Das Lokal ist trotz der Lage in einer Halle recht gemütlich, aber je nachdem wo man sitzt zieht es doch sehr. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden und würden wieder dort essen.

The food is pretty good and the atmosphere for a Friday night was relaxed and good to make it possible to have a conversation. The service although not bad was a bit slow and at times I thought someone could have checked on us, also was given the wrong bill when it wasn't that busy. Still I think it's a good place to go if you want to eat and hold a conversation without a lot of noise that CW normally has.

very quiet on a Saturday evening ("dry" January...). Excellent service, food was very good, very warm although very open space and on a day with -2 outside. Fair prices so overall an excellent experience. definitely recommended in the area

the staff at Obica Canary Wharf were very friendly and welcoming - our quick lunch menu was delicious - looks like the fixed price menu is good value too. it is within a larger space so tricky ambiance but very efficient and nice experience

Food was average but the service was good. I had aubergine parmigiana but it wasnt cooked very well. Focaccia and buffalo mozzarella was satisfying.

We booked this restaurant to treat our friends from abroad hoping for a special evening as it was our only night eating out. The waiting staff were excellent, very friendly, professional and attentive. Unfortunately my son’s carbonara was very dry, undercooked (not al dente) and overpowered by burnt bacon. My son wet to inform the manager who then patted him on his shoulder saying ‘but you had half of it’. This indeed was the case. Stupidly all of us at the table sampled the pasta to verfy the taste. Our intention was not to have the pasta taken off the bill, the intention was to give feedback to the management and order another dish for my son who had participated in a physically demanding activity all day and needed a proper meal. We were not given the opportunity to explain this to the manager. He was dismissive and ignoring eye contact while clearing the plates and simply walked away. There was no conversation. We were made to feel as if we were trying it on and wanted a freebie. It seemed like he was angry with us and we decided there was no point ordering anything else and finished the evening. One of the very kind staff members brought the bill. I asked the waiter if there was any feedback to what we said about the carbonara but there was not. He went to speak to the manager and as he returned he passed on the message that there were ‘four other carbonaras cooked at the same time and nobody else complained”. The wonderful waiter offered to take the service off the bill to which we did not agree as the service from the waiting staff was flawless. The waiter profusely apologised for our experience, the manager was still keeping himself busy at the empty bar and never even looked in our direction. We apologised to the staff for involving them in the situation which should have been handled by the manager, really felt sorry for them. We left the premises quite stressed and disappointed. Our friends have left now and we do not have another evening to dine out
