Our dinner was an extremely loud experience even though it was a Monday. Our dinner was so loud the decibel level inside was consistent at an 88-91. To put in perspective OSHA has a permissible exposure limit of 95 decibels if the noise in the workplace lasts 3 hours or more. The wait staff were stepping outside to catch a few seconds of quiet before returning. I rarely post but the experience was honestly concerning :( It felt like we were at a nightclub. The food was good and service was good but I would highly recommend sitting outside when you book your reservation!

First time at North Italia, and we won't be returning. As my husband said, "I go to a restaurant for good food and good service." He enjoyed his Pork Milanese; I didn't care for my Bolognese which was supposed to be a "House Specialty". The kitchen was skimpy on the sauce, so I really only had an abundance of dry pappardelle. I've had better bolognese sauce elsewhere, even out of a jar. It was an extremely busy restaurant, so noisy that we had to practically shout at each other to communicate. The physical layout of this eatery is strangely spread out with tables crowded together. We were seated in the farthest room bordering on a patio on 1 side and the street on the other with both doors open, making it even noisier, but, I guess, more convenient for the servers to go in and out. The worst part of our experience was the service. It took at least 10 minutes or more for our server to arrive at our table. No welcome, no smile. To begin, we wanted water. Another 10 minutes or more till that arrived. When it did, we ordered 2 glasses of wine. That took 15 minutes! We asked for bread which we felt should have been brought with the drinks, if not sooner, but that came quickly as the server prepared it in the same room. We ordered our entrees which took 25 minutes to arrive. The server never returned to ask how we liked our food or if we needed anything like more water. Finally, we caught him as he was passing by to request boxes to take leftovers home and then asked for a dessert menu. I ordered the Chocolate Budino which was quite good, and my husband ordered Tiramisu, his favorite. It was mediocre. We didn't have to ask for the check as the server brought it before our dessert dishes were empty. I wonder if North Italia was short-staffed last night. Granted our server had many tables to serve, including a large party in the center of the room, but that's no excuse for brusque service. As I said at the beginning, we won't be returning.

Sat on the patio and it was lovely. We had calamari and meatballs for apps and they were delicious! A few of us ordered the lasagna and really did not enjoy it (it was a white sauce and served in a skillet(. My husband had the pork Milanese and it was excellent! Very cute restaurant and ambience, will definitely go back. Our server Steven was great!

One of the best meals we have had in a while… and we eat out at least 3 times a week. Zucchini chips were outstanding, the Simple salad, Bolognese and sea bass were fabulous…. Now easily one our favorite restaurants… Shekhar

As always, the food was delicious! We had an issue with our appetizer but the server and the manager both addressed it quickly, and took it off our bill. Drinks were tasty too! Noise level is low outdoors, too loud for conversation inside.

North Italia is an excellent choice for lunch with friends. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, very knowledgeable about the menu items. We had great service and never rushed. We enjoyed our dining experience and felt it was a good value. I would highly recommend North Italia

We were there on a Thursday evening around 8:30. We ended up just sitting at the bar. We both felt like the bartender was not very happy to have more customers, and the entire time we were there they were cleaning up. We felt like they were rushing us out. We ordered an appetizer, salad and split a pizza. Everything basically came out at once. The appetizer was maybe a couple of minutes before the salad and pizza, but we just felt everything was rushed. Food was good. No complaints other than the calamari is very heavily breaded, but overall food was good. The restaurant had several tables still so we definitely weren’t the only ones in there. It just wasn’t the nice and relaxing experience we were hoping for.
