Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only. Also available to book out for events.

   Hudson and Essex is the premier restaurant of Mansfield’s rustbelt revitalization. Our sleek elegant space showcases a distinctive menu featuring local purveyors and wine from our own Cypress Hill Winery. Our menu changes with the seasons to keep our food fresh while keeping the customer favorites available all year.
   Cypress Hill Winery is a boutique winery located beneath Hudson & Essex in the Carousel District of Mansfield, Ohio that remains loyal to the passion and the art of California wine.    For parties of 8 or more, we do require you to call in to the restaurant as we would need to make sure that we have enough tables available to accommodate you.
