Food very good as always. Prix fixe menu is good value. Service excellent. Restaurant can be a bit chilly.

We were treated to afternoon tea. A gift voucher from our son and new daughter in law. Not that we had paid I thought the price of the afternoon tea for what we got was rather expensive. Not a price I would have paid. The tea was quite nice, my wife had a pot of tea and I ordered coffee. On the menu it stated a pot of coffee. All I got was a cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly, but didn’t come to ask if everything was ok. It was a nice experience but having had afternoon tea in other places it was expensive compared to other venues.

Don't miss an opportunity to dine here. The food, service and friendly welcome are legendary. Imaginative menu with first class ingredients and a great team.

Our second time eating here, first time was very busy and lively atmosphere, second time very quiet (Tuesday pm) but did not stop us enjoying the food which was very nice. Service very good
