Martin was most welcoming and for that alone we will be back. It was a busy service. Starters were excellent, my friend enjoyed her fishcake with a perfectly poached egg. My shepherd’s pie was good. The creamed spinach was very good. A well chilled bottle of Chenin Blanc complemented the meal. Thank you. Overall a wonderful dining experience which we highly recommend!!

We found the food well presented and of excellent quality, very tasty. Staff were friendly, very professional and very proficient. Would definitely return.

Service was excellent. A very nice pub but it was a bit cold. Soup starter was very tasty but a little lacking in quantity. Overall very good.

Food, drink, service, quality, ambiance, security was all superb You are all superstars in my eyes and went over and above to make our evening really special. Perfect pub for a lovely dining experience- beautiful interior with 2 real fires - staff were fabulous , food was clearly freshly prepared and so tasty - we will definitely go back - we took our border collie and he was made very welcome / overall a perfect lunch out , thank you :)
