Opened in May of 2008 "Bud's at Silver Run" invites you to enjoy great dining in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Local resident Blinn Salisbury III and partner Ken Lurie are pleased to become part of the community and to revive this great location. We have searched for the right restaurant and are happy that we have found it in Silver Run. Ken brings more than thirty years of varied restaurant experience with him to Bud's. From learning under Karl Beckley at the Greenlake Grill in Seattle to Food & Beverage Director of the Virgin Grand in the Virgin Islands, Ken is excited to return to Maryland. Our goal is to enhance and enrich your dining by offering a quality restaurant experience. We hope to meet and exceed your expectations in each of your visits.     Another great time. Our server, Brook, was excellent. I took a chance and ordered duck entree and didn’t like it. Brook ask what was wrong and I said I thought maybe it needed to be cooked longer. She kindly asked if I would allow the chief cook it longer and I did, but still didn’t like it. My husband reminded me I had duck somewhere else before and didn’t like it ….i think I just don’t like duck. Brook kindly offered and almost insisted on me trying another option. I felt like it was my fault selecting something I didn’t like, but she was so kind I accepted the offer and chose filet mignon. It was GREAT and I won’t forget how much effort was put into making sure I was pleased. The service and food at this restaurant is the BEST!!!

    The octopus was exceptional: grilled crispy, yet moist and tender on the inside. The combination with harissa and salty nuts was superb. Haloomi also very good. Mains: scallops with corn, a fun surprise; filet, nicely prepared.
